Third Battalion, 14th Marines will host the 249th Marine Corps Birthday Ball Celebration on November 23, 2024, at the Valley Forge Casino, 1160 First Avenue King of Prussia, Pennsylvania 19406.

Q: What is appropriate to wear?
A: Marines are to wear Blue Dress “A” or Evening Dress. Other service members are to wear their service equivalent. For civilians the event is formal and black tie.
Q: Can my children attend the ceremony?
A: The Marine Corps Ball is intended as an adult event and all guests, regardless of age, are expected to dress in evening formal wear and able to conduct themselves maturely throughout the event. All guests are the responsibility of the service member and are expected to uphold the prestige honor of celebrating the 249th Marine Corps Birthday.
Q: Are there ID requirements or an age limit to purchase alcohol?
A: Not to attend the ceremony. You must be of legal age to purchase alcohol and have a valid photo ID.
Q: What type of food will be served?

A: Tables will be assigned per work section, but individual seats may be decided at the assigned table.
Q: Can I pay by cash or check?
A: No, all tickets must be purchased via TicketLeap.
Q: How many guests am I allowed to bring? What is their cost?
A: You may bring as many guests as you would like. All your guests will be proced at $82 plus service fees.
Q: Will there be a cash bar?
A: Yes. The hotel will have multiple bars open located immediately outside the ballroom entrance for cocktail hour and following the ceremony.
Q: How much are photos?
A: Current pricing will be $20 at the photographer’s booth. Cash and cards accepted.
